Are you curious about the race, full of energy, and ready to support our incredible athletes? Here's your chance to be part of the Glades Runner Ultramarathon in a meaningful way—no running required!
Help make race day a success by volunteering for a few hours at:
- Aid stations
- The finish line
- Or another key position listed below
🖱️ How to Sign Up:

- Answer a few quick questions to confirm your spot.
🎁 Volunteers receive a "STAFF" shirt (just provide your shirt size during registration). All positions are first come, first served. “Greyed-out” roles are already filled, and some require a password for sponsored or technical groups.

GLADES RUNNER Volunteer Opportunities – March 14, 2026
Join us in making the Glades Runner a success! Below are the volunteer positions available:
- Runner Check-In: 5:30 AM–7:30 AM
Welcome runners at the Miccosukee Village, formally confirm their arrival, distribute race packets and assist with the race start. - Course Monitors (Race Start): 7:00 AM–1:00 PM
Keep runners on course as they enter Shark Valley. Various locations. - Course Monitors (50 Kilometer):
Support runners at designated points along the course. Shifts available from 10:30 AM–6:00 PM. - Aid Stations: 7:15 AM–5:30 PM
Help runners stay hydrated and energized by providing water, food and encouragement. Shifts available at multiple locations. - Introduction for aid station volunteers: view the short VIDEO here.
- Finish Line Assistance: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
Celebrate runners as they cross the finish line at the Village. Present finisher medals and guide them to post-race refreshments.
